UNTRANSLATABLE / INTRADUZÍVEIS

In English, we say to ourselves: "I feel kind of sad or depressed."

In Poetry, we say:

To be in life the invisible shadow of noon

And, at nightfall, to be the black and blind darkness that no one sees

To die, in silence, but not in the Ego:

to abandon the shell of Being and, for a moment, to be no more than a dream

Or to finally stop being what one never was

A paradox of life, ambiguously vivid and livid

Walking representation of those who no longer exist

"A postponed corpse that procreates"

Except that this one, however, only steals the breath of those around it,

Much more worthy of the cost of its value

And of inheriting, by possession, the divine essence of being

As a gift gained from year to year

Through endless cycles, until they end

Now the creature is left with the inheritance of equal days, equally invisible

Indivisible, by nature:

Stellar conglomerate of concerns

And indifference to existing — or ceasing to exist.

Em português, nós dizemos para nós mesmos: "Estou um pouco triste ou deprimido."

Em Poesia, nós dizemos:

Ser em vida a sombra invisível do meio-dia

E, ao cair da noite, ser o escuro negro e cego que ninguém vê

Morrer, em silêncio, mas não no Ego:

abandonar a casca do Ser e, por um momento, ser não mais que sonho

Ou deixar, enfim, de ser o que se nunca foi

Um paradoxo de vida, ambiguamente vívido e lívido

Representante andante dos que já não mais existem

"Cadáver adiado que procria"

Exceto que este, no entanto, apenas furta o fôlego aos que o cercam,

Bem mais dignos do custo do seu valor

E de herdarem, por posse, a essência divina de haver

Como presente ganho de ano em ano

Por ciclos intermináveis, até que findem

Já à criatura, resta a herdade de dias iguais, igualmente invisíveis

Indivisíveis, por natureza:

Conglomerado estelar de preocupações

E indiferença de existir — ou de deixar de existir.
