Prayer for my son Joseph
Nov. 11, 99
Today, July 18 2013, I can clearly see how wonderfully was this prayer answered.

"The decrees of the Lord are enduring,
making the simple wise." (Psalm 19:8)
Hashem, Your light can only be seen
through our tears.
They wash away the illusion
leaving only a vision
to be gazed upon.
Your truth supernal can be revealed
only in quietness
and Silence.
Hashem, my love wanders
in a beautiful dungeon
a maze of enchanting words.
His thoughts are held captive
in threads and shreds
of dreams of strength.
Give him Silence, Hashem.
Surround my love
in Your darkness.
As in Bereshith
Hashem, send a ray of Light
to pierce his formlessness.
Loosen up the grip
of possession.
Dissipate the sights.
Open my love's eyes
with tears.
In knowledge
engrave and carve
his growing Self
bathe him
in understanding.
Bring him out into Eternity
where Silence
and quietness
mold and form Wisdom
into a man.
