Na semana que passou, uma menina de 13 anos foi assassinada enquanto dormia por um terrorista de apenas 17 anos, pelo único motivo de ser judia. Em qualquer outro tipo de situação, eles poderiam até namorar no futuro. Poderiam ser amigos no futuro. Mas uma ideologia de ódio e morte contaminou a mente daquele menino.
Tenho pena da menina e seus familiares, sim. Mas tenho ainda mais pena do absurdo de que um menino que mal sabe da vida tenha sido incitado a matar. Que sua mãe esteja orgulhosa do que ele fez. Que sua sociedade esteja celebrando o que ele fez.
Vejo fotos de seu rosto ainda imberbe, e penso nos meus próprios meninos. O que teria sido deles, se não tivessem sido de-programados de uma ideologia de ódio e separação? Se eu não tivesse estado aqui para recebê-los?
Você não entende os judeus? Você acha que somos separatistas, por nos mantermos juntos e nos defendermos mutuamente? Por respondermos muitas vezes duramente contra quaisquer ataques, sejam eles quais forem? Pense outra vez.
Nós somos uma Nação de desprezados. Não importa se alguns tenham dinheiro ou posição – seremos sempre “os judeus”. Seremos sempre o alvo de acusações e ataques. E você se admira de que respondamos duramente? Quando atacam um de nós, quando ferem um de nós, estão ferindo toda a Nação.
E este é o segredo de ainda estarmos aqui. Somos um todo indivisível. Não somos “partes” de algo. Não somos “membros” de alguma organização. Cada um de nós, não importa onde esteja, não importa o grau de religiosidade, nem o sexo, nem a idade, nem coisa nenhuma – nós, todos nós, somos Israel. E ai de quem fira nem que seja o menor dentre nós, em qualquer lugar do mundo. Somos um todo, e como um todo, a Nação de Israel se levantará em defesa.
Os religiosos dentre nós, como eu, dirão que é Hashem, o Senhor, que se levanta. E mesmo o mais ateu dentre nós reconhece que há uma força maior que o indivíduo atuando aqui.
Sim, tenho pena de cada um de nós que cai nas mãos do Terrorismo. Mas meu coração chora por um mundo que permite que tal coisa aconteça, por um mundo que justifica a barbárie, por um mundo que se cala. Porque se você ferir nem que seja um dentre nós, você estará ferindo a toda uma Nação, e ao Criador do Universo que nos fez.
Nunca se esqueça disto: a menos que você seja um convertido ao Judaísmo, nenhum de nós escolheu ser judeu. Nascemos judeus. Somos criações do Infinito. E ai de quem toque nem que seja no menor dentre nós: ele estará tocando na pupila do olho de D´us.
E se duvida de que Hashem protegerá Israel se algum conflito surgir, lembre-se: se você é cristão, e conhece seu Novo Testamento, sabe de Mateus 24:15, 16 diz: “E quando virdes a abominação da desolação horrível da qual falou o profeta Daniel no lugar santo, os que estiverem na Judéia, fujam para os montes.”
Amigo, a Judéia hoje não pertence a Israel: a Judéia é o que chamam de Palestina.
Quando a mão de destruição cair, ela não cairá sobre Israel.

ISRAEL IN TIMES OF EXTERMINATION

Last week a 13 years girl was murdered while she slept by a 17 years old terrorist, for the sole reason of being Jewish. In any other kind of situation they could have been dating in the future. They could have been friends. But a hate and death ideology contaminated that boy´s mind.
Yes, I´m sorry for the girl and her family. But I´m even more sorry for the absurdity of the fact that a boy who barely knew about life should have been incited to kill. That his mother is proud of what he has done. That his society is celebrating what he has done.
I see pictures of his still beardless face and I think about my own boys. What would have happened to them if they hadn´t been deprogrammed from an ideology of hate and separatism? If I hadn´t been there to received them?
So you don´t understand the Jews? So you think we are separatists because we keep together and defend each other? Because many times we answer with harshness against any attacks, whatever they may be? Well, think again.
We are a Nation of despised people. It doesn´t matter if we have money or position – we´ll always be “the Jews”. We´ll always be the target for accusations and attacks. And then you wonder why we answer with harshness? When one of us is attacked, when you hurt one of us, you´re hurting the entire Nation.
And that´s the secret of why we´re still here. We are an indivisible whole. We are not “parts” of something. We are not “members” of an organization. Each one of us, no matter the level of religiousness, nor the sex, nor the age, nor anything else – we are, all of us, Israel. And woe to him who touches even the smallest of us, in whatsoever place in the world. We are a whole, and as a whole the Nation of Israel will stand in his or her defense.
The religious among us, like me, would say that it´s Hashem who stands. And even the most atheistic among us can see there´s a force stronger than the individual acting there.
Yes, I´m sorry for each one of us who falls at the hands of Terrorism. But my heart weeps for a world who allows such a thing, for a world who justifies barbarism, for a world who remains silent. For if you hurt even one of us, you´ll be hurting the entire Nation and the Creator of the Universe who made us.
Never forget this: apart from those who have been converted to Judaism, none of us chose to be Jewish. We were born Jewish. We are creations of the Infinite. And woe to those who touch even the smallest among us. They´ll be touching the pupil of G´d´s eye.
And if you doubt Hashem will protect Israel in a conflict, just remember: if you´re a Christian and know Mathew 24, remember what it says. “And when you see the abomination of desolation in the Holy Places, as spoken by Daniel the Prophet, if you are in Judea, flee to the mountains".
Friend, Judea doesn´t belong to Israel nowadays. Judea is what they call Palestina.
When the hand of destruction shall fall, it will not fall on Israel.
