Nesta semana, assisti outra vez ao filme "O Livro de Elias", e sua realidade, mais uma vez, fez-me ponderar.
O filme se passa no futuro. As guerras dos homens destruíram o planeta, e os poucos seres que restaram vivem de restos em meio aos escombros. Um homem, aparentemente invencível, cruza os destroços de cidades e campos, movido por uma voz que lhe dissera para entregar um certo Livro em um certo lugar da costa leste.
Quase ao fim de sua jornada, ele encontra uma conglomeração de pessoas sob o governo de um homem refinado e inclemente, que mantém a população subserviente a ele devido ao seu conhecimento das fontes de água, imprescindíveis à sobrevivência.
Ora, esse homem cruel está obcecado por uma idéia: encontrar um certo Livro que, segundo ele, concede a seu possuidor o poder incontestável de reinar sobre os demais. E esse Livro é justamente aquele que nosso caminhante possui - o último volume do gênero, em toda a terra.
Não lhes conto mais nada para não estragar a surpresa àqueles que pretendem ver o filme, mas ele retrata exatamente o que digo no texto abaixo, tanto quanto à fonte desse poder, quanto à razão pela qual os gananciosos não conseguem obtê-lo, por mais que tiranizem por outros meios aqueles que estão sob seu governo. Espero que a leitura a seguir possa trazer alguma luz à questão.
Devo dizer também que este texto foi escrito há mais de quinze anos atrás, em resposta a uma pessoa que estava fazendo uma longa explicação do porquê de existirem segredos que devem ser preservados.

O conhecimento oculto

Em tempos atribulados, como durante uma guerra, seja ela pessoal ou nacional, uma grande quantidade de pessoas se volta às religiões e ao misticismo, buscando por respostas ou por conforto. E deparam-se com uma quantidade de assim-chamados "segredos", ou "enigmas", ou passagens obscuras dos textos sagrados das diversas religiões.
Então lhes surge a pergunta: será que a Verdade, aquela com letra maiúscula, é posse apenas de uns poucos iniciados, ininteligível ao homem comum? Como atingir a sabedoria, a paz, a realização? Qual o caminho a ser seguido?
Tenho repetido muitas vezes, em meus textos, que sim, há coisas ocultas, mas apenas porque elas AINDA estão ocultas. São cognoscíveis, mas ainda inatingíveis à maioria das pessoas. E isto porque cada segredo dos mundos superiores revela-se ao homem à medida em que ele evolui e aprende - não importa quantos livros leia, ou a quantas igrejas, sociedades, irmandades, ordens e fraternidades ele pertença e siga. Explico:
A única razão pela qual a maioria desses segredos continua como tal, é porque a pessoa AINDA não tem capacidade de suportar ou de captar seu significado. E não será por pertencer a algum grupo em especial, e seguir algum caminho em especial, que o Universo se lhe revelará. A revelação depende de outros fatores.
As diversas denominações e seitas cristãs fazem questão de colocar todo o seu material ao alcance de todos, mas sempre reservam para si um trunfo: muitos conhecem, mas apenas alguns podem dirigir, porque, aos seus olhos, são eles que ENTENDEM os princípios revelados nas Escrituras. Aos seus olhos, esses dirigentes são mais aptos, mais merecedores, talvez mais puros.
Contudo, o que a maioria deles não percebe, é que todo seu conhecimento não é o suficiente, e há coisas que a grande e esmagadora maioria jamais atinge, exceto por alguns - e geralmente são os que não dirigem ou governam coisa alguma.
Quanto às demais crenças, seitas, ordens, fraternidades, há muitos que chegaram ao conhecimento das coisas ocultas através do material cuidadosamente preservado por elas.
O problema é que essas pessoas, apossando-se de tal conhecimento, passaram por uma avassaladora mudança: sentindo-se agora grandes e poderosas, elas passam a se utilizar do conhecimento aquirido para oprimir, tirar vantagem, destruir, escravizar. Veja Hitler e as Ordens nórdicas. Veja o que fizeram alguns dos Papas, Bispos e Arcebispos ao longo dos séculos. Veja o que homens como Calvino fizeram.
Estes são os "Black Brothers", os Irmãos das Trevas. Nós os encontramos dentro de cada religião, cada ordem, cada filosofia, cada grupo. Eles são os parasitas do mundo espiritual, vivendo às custas da crença dos demais em seu assim-chamado poder. E quanto maior o conhecimento que essas pessoas possuem, maior é a corrupção de seu íntimo. E por quê?
Porque não é através do conhecimento de segredos que o homem evolui nos mundos superiores, mas através de algo muito mais sutil. Quer dizer, o conhecimento dos princípios das Verdades superiores são inúteis, se a pessoa que o obtém não evoluiu através dele. Ganância, medo e soberba são obstáculos intransponíveis na busca pelo verdadeiro poder.
Assim, cheias do conhecimento mais avassalador concedido ao ser que busca, essas pessoas se perdem nos labiritos de si mesmas. Seu conhecimento vai aos poucos corroendo-lhes o espírito, e, a cada destruição que causam, elas mesmas se destróem, sem que jamais percebam. Estão cegas. Conhecem apenas, mas o conhecimento não se lhes chegou a transmutar em entendimento e sabedoria, para que possam utilizá-los.
E, como parasitas, essas pessoas se tornam seres não apenas sem valor algum à humanidade, mas, pior do que isto, são instrumento de destruição de vidas, energias e criatividade de outras pessoas, colocando-as entre as paredes sufocantes de alguma crença, alguma filosofia, a fim de dominá-las.
Alguns de seus seguidores são jovens demais, ou simples demais, ou cegos demais pelas próprias ganâncias e medos, para perceber que estão na presença não de um ser superior, mas de uma pessoa que ainda não saiu da espiral do abismo de si mesma.
Mas tome cuidado: isto não quer dizer que a pessoa que cai na espiral do abismo de si mesma nunca sairá. Afinal, todo buscador passa por ela, cedo ou tarde. O problema é não se deter aí, nos labirintos da ganância, da lascívia, do medo de perder o que já se tem, seja lá o que for.
Portanto, jamais aponte o dedo e diga: Fulano ou Fulana é um ser desprezível, é isto ou aquilo. Não - talvez o Fulano ou Fulana esteja em uma fase do caminho pela qual TODOS passarão. Talvez a fase nunca termine, mas talvez termine, e logo, e você que o/a criticou vai ficar com cara de bobo.
Mas como se dá esse tal de conhecimento oculto?
Ele se dá através da passagem por portais, e cada portal tem sua chave. Os portais superiores, entretanto - aqueles além da espiral do abismo - estão abertos apenas aos que conseguiram subir à montanha depois do deserto do ser-se, e continuaram puros de coração. Mas a passagem pelo deserto é imprescindível.
E, como disse o Bardo, "é aí que bate o ponto".
Todas as religiões, ordens, fraternidades, irmandades e sociedades podem chegar só até aí. A partir deste ponto, toda revelação é absoluta e completamente individual e intransmissível.
Contudo, a chave de seus portais NÃO É um segredo, tampouco os portais em si. Apenas estão além das mãos dos gananciosos. E isto porque o verdadeiro poder não se manifesta na direção e governo das massas, mas na direção de si mesmo.
Não foi por acaso que temos a alegoria do Arcanjo com uma Espada flamejante, guardando a Árvore da Vida, para que o homem não se lhe comesse do fruto, e fosse eterno em sua miséria.
As Verdades superiores, aquelas que estão além do conhecimento, não precisam ser mantidas em segredo, através de silêncio e de juramentos de iniciados, ou serem ensinadas por Instrutores, pastores, padres, rabinos, pelo simples motivo de que elas estão além da palavra do homem. Elas já foram anunciadas aos gritos do alto das montanhas e dos edifícios, mas a maioria esmagadora dos homens não as percebeu! E por quê?
Porque os ouvidos do homem estão surdos a tais Verdades, assim como seus olhos estão cegos às cores invisíveis do arco-íris, e aos sons que estão para além e aquém da escala musical.
O Universo não precisa que meros homens escondam seus segredos: o que os impede de ver é sua própria estrutura ainda em formação.
E ainda que os escarnecedores torçam seus veneráveis narizes, a chave do supremo poder sobre todo o Universo está ao alcance de todos, não importa seu grau de instrução, sua posição social ou política, sua situação financeira, sua cor, sua raça, seu credo.
A chave de tudo se chama MISERICÓRDIA, a forma última do amor, e o requisito para que alguém estenda a mão e a tome é um só: INOCÊNCIA.
E, como já afirmei em diversos outros textos, essa inocência não é aquela do não-conhecimento, mas sim a inocência daqueles que estão isentos de culpa.
ENGLISH VERSION
Introduction:
This week I´ve watched again the movie "The Book of Elijah", and once again its reality made me ponder.
The film is set in the future. The wars of men have destroyed the planet, and the few remaining people live from what they can find in the rubble. An apparently invincible man crosses the wreckage of towns and fields, driven by a voice that told him to deliver a certain book to a certain place on the east coast.
Towards the end of his journey he meets a conglomeration of people under the rule of a refined and hard man, who keeps them subservient through his knowledge of the water sources, which are essential for their survival.
This cruel man is obsessed with one idea: to find a certain book that according to him will give its possessor undisputed power to reign over the others. And this book is precisely the one which our walker has - the last volume of its kind in all the earth.
I´ll not say anything else so as not to spoil the surprise for those of you who want to see the movie, but only that it gives a good view of what I´m stating in the text that follows, that means, what is source of power, why the greedy can´t achieve it no matter how they oppress those under them. I hope this text is able to shed some light on the issue.
I ´d also like to add that this text was written more than fifteen years ago to someone who was giving his students a lengthy explanation of why should some secrets be preserved.
The occultic knowledge

In troubled times such as during war, be it personal or national, a great number of people turn to religion and mysticism in their search for answers or comfort. And they are faced with several so-called "secrets" or "enigmas" or obscure passages in the religious holy writings.
So the question arises: Is Truth with a capital T a possession of just a few Initiated ones, and inapprehensible by the common man? How to achieve wisdom, peace, fulfillment? Which path should one follow?
I´ve stated many times in my writings that yes, there are hidden things, but only because they are STILL hidden. They´re cognizable but still unachievable for most people. And the reason is that each secret of the higher realms is revealed to man as he evolves and learns - no matter how many books he reads, or how many churches, societies, sororities, fraternities and orders he belongs to and follows. Let me explain:
The sole reason most of those secrets remain as such is because man has YET no ability to stand or grasp their meaning. And it´s not from belonging to a particular group and follow a particular path that the Universe will reveal itself to him. This revelation lays on other factors.
The various Christian cults and denominations make sure their writings are available to all. Nevertheless, they keep a trump under their sleeves: many are able to know, but only a few are able to lead, because according to them they are the only ones who fully understand the principles revealed by their Scriptures, and are the most able and worthy, perhaps even purer.
However, what they don´t realize is that all their knowledge is not enough, and that there are things the vast and overwhelming majority never reaches, except for a few - and those usually are the ones who don´t lead or direct anything.
It´s a fact that there are some faiths, cults, orders and fraternities who came to the knowledge of occultic things through their carefully preserved materials. The problem with them is that having taken possession of such a knowledge, they go through a terrible change: feeling now great and powerful, they now use their knowledge to oppress, take advantage, destroy, enslave. Just take a look at what Hitler and the Nordic Orders did. Look at what some of the Popes, Bishops and Archbishops have done over the centuries. Look at what men like John Calvin did.
Those are the "Black Brothers", the Brothers of Darkness. We find them in every religion, every order, every philosophy, every group. They are the parasites of the spiritual world, living at the expense of others' beliefs in their so-called power. And the greater the knowledge they have, the greater is their inner corruption. And why?
Because it is not through the knowledge of secrets that man evolve through the supernal realms, but through something much more subtle. What this means is that the knowledge of the principles of higher truths is useless, unless the person who reaches them has evolved through those higher truths. Greed, fear and pride are insurmountable obstacles in the pursuit of true power.
So, full of the most awsome knowledge granted to a seeker, those people become lost in the labirinths of themselves. Their knowledge slowly erodes their minds, and at every destruction they cause they themselves are destroyed, without ever taking heed, because they´re blind. They know only - their knowledge didn´t transmute itself into understanding and wisdom, so they can´t spiritually profit from it.
And like parasites, those people become not only worthless to humanity, but worse yet, they are instrument of destruction in the lives, energies and creativity of others, as they entrap them inside the smothering walls of a belief, a philosophy, so as to have dominion over them.
Some of their followers are too young or too simple or too blinded by their own greed and fears to realize they are not in the presence of a superior being, but of a person not yet out of the spiral abyss of his/her self.
But be cautious: that doesn´t mean that anyone falling into the spiral abyss of self would stay there forever. After all, every seeker goes through it sooner or later. The problem is that one can´t stop there, in the labyrinths of greed, lust and fear of losing what one already have, be it what it may.
Therefore, never point your finger and say, John Doe or Jane Doe is despicable, they are this and they are that. No - perhaps John or Jane is in a stretch of the path by which we´ll ALL go through. Perhaps that stretch´d go on forever, but it could be over very soon and then you, who have been criticizing him or her, would look like a fool.
But how does this occultic knowledge happen?
It happens through the crossing of portals, and each portal has its own key. However, the higher portals - those beyond the spiral abyss - are open only to those who manage to climb the mountain after crossing the desert of self and remain pure of heart. Nevertheless, the passage through the wilderness is inevitable.
And as the Bard said, "ay, there is the rub".
Every religion, order, fraternity, sorority and society can only reach so far. From this point on, all revelation is utterly and completely individual and intransmissible.
However, the keys to their portals are NOT a secret, neither are the portals themselves. It´s just that they are beyond greedy hands, because real power doesn´t show itself in governing or leading others, but it shows itself in governing and leading oneself.
The allegory of the Archangel guarding the Tree of Life with a flaming sword, so man would not eat the fruit and become eternal in his misery was not made by chance.
The higher truths, those that are beyond knowledge, don´t need to be kept a secret through silence and oaths of iniciated ones, or to be taught by instructors, pastors, priests and rabbis, for the simple reason that they are beyond the words of man. Anyway, they have already been shouted on the mountains tops and buildings, but the overwhelming majority of men didn´t perceive them! And why is that?
Because man's ears are deaf to such truths, just as they are to the sounds beyond and below the gamut, and as their eyes are blind to the invisible colors of the rainbow.
The universe doesn´t need mere men to hide its secrets: what prevents men from seeing them is their own structure still in the process of being formed.
And even if the scoffers lift their venerable noses, the fact is that the key to ultimate power over the entire Universe is within the reach of all men, no matter their level of education, their social or politic positions, their financial situation, their color, their race, their creed, their gender.
The key to everything is called MERCY, the ultimate form of love, and there´s only one requirement to reach out and take it: INNOCENCE.
And as I´ve repeatedly stated in my writings, this innocence is not that which comes from absence of knowledge, but the one only possessed by those who are blameless.
