Quero dizer, o buraco não me incomodou.
Então, agora, onde isso me deixa?
defina-me.
Momentaneamente, pondero a situação e continuo a passar a ferro.
Fora no meio-fio.
As meninas vêem caminho além do buraco.
Designer chique
As axilas?

The Shirt With The Hole In The Armpit
You seem to be the type of person who would understand these things:
My shirt has a hole, right under the armpit.
As I'm ironing my shirt, I notice a hole.
Well, I continue to iron the shirt, but then I start to think.
Shouldn't I stop ironing this shirt with the hole under the armpit
and go find a better shirt to iron.
Since my first thought wasn't to change this shirt with the hole,
is there a problem with me?
I mean, the hole just didn't bother me.
There's no inclination to run and get a hole less shirt.
So, now where does that leave me?
How does this reaction to the shirt with the hole in the armpit
define me.
My daughter would have said, "I know you are not going to
wear that shirt! There's a hole right there under the armpit.
That is so embarrassing!"
I ponder the situation momentarily, and continue to iron.
But what I do think about is that there are many people
who have no shirt, not even one with a hole in the armpit.
I look at my shirt, it's old, good quality, but well worn.
There are many who wouldn't wear it, brand new, off the rack,
forget the hole, it's not name-brand.
Then I imagine this little girl, weighing about 50lbs,
wearing my shirt with the hole in the armpit.
Her mother found it in a bag of old clothes I has sat
out on the curb.
She wears it like it's a treasure, big, hanging off her shoulders,
dragging the ground, getting caught under her small feet as
she struggle to keep up with Mom who carries another, while
pushing a shopping card with three more hanging on.
The little girls sees way beyond the hole.
She welcomes the warm feel of it on her barely clad body.
A body rigid with the scarcity of skin and muscles, yet
ripe with signs of starvation.
She wears the shirt with the hole in the armpit like it's
designer chic.
I finish ironing my shirt and I wear my shirt.
Throughout the day, I feel for the hole in the armpit.
I smile, I wear the shirt with the hole in the armpit
because I want to, not because I have to!
I am bless!
Since you are a person who seems like they know
things, would you have worn the shirt with the hole under
the armpits?
