Is assessment of oral skills done separately from writing/reading skills? How do you do it? Based on the Monograph Project “Bringing awareness to adult learners in oral tasks with the use of accountability”1 Students frequently complain that they are not learning and the majority of teachers, unfortunately, contemplate weak learning results only in formal tests. Self-assessments are elementary for bringing awareness to students’ own perception of learning a language. Thus, teachers are solely responsible for assessments.
