SAPLING

SAPLING

It is no joke for all that it might seem

The image of your eyes on mine, a beam,

Never before a woman's gentle grin

Entered my mind thus and therein rooted down.

So strong and firmly, a girl as strange

That every string of my heart will range

And give me her weirdy ways on exchange

For all the numbness i had within me sown.

But never mine was, she hesitates,

She frets, she comes, then leaves me alone,

The oddest boundaries she then dictates

Yet she’s the first to break'em all of her own

Accord, for despite all that she oscillates

Inside her my roots are also fully-blown.
