INSIGHT

INSIGHT I – 10 fev 2006

There were reasons involved that shouldn't

Allow a friendship into romance

To develop, as she rather well wouldn't

Let herself asked again to dance

The same old tune from her grievous past.

The same sorrows wake, yes, the same

Wounds reopen that once had messed

So much with her mind, all that blame,

All that guilt, all her self-reproach,

The lack o' self-esteem, the bitterness

Of abandonment, unhealthy approach

To an early life... and yet, above all,

That other love enwreathed in sadness

Whose sweet moments were best in her recall.
