My Bell

This heavy rain, why is it it must fall?

Hear you, perhaps, that lovely bell that tolls?

Sounds light, though strong, and comes not from afar

The bell, unnoticed, rings out to the star:

‘This rain, please tell, will it be always there?

When all was blue, had not a thing to share

Now clouds they stand between us, you’d agree

But even through the fog your light I see’

That star it shines so bright, as you’ve been told

To hear the bell, it could the sky unfold

It’s likely it will clear out someday

The bell could, then, be ringing other way

I ask again, you hear this bell that tolls?

You are my star, for you I’ll always fall
