Six feet long bailey
Beyond a rocky wall is settled my town of birth.
Of hills and beautiful beaches is made its girth.
There, shining under the sun, lay wide sandy shores
During its warm summer many foreigners adore.
In the middle of the year, when thunder and storms come,
Corn is served in many ways. And every
Family and every single man, build a fire and sing
And dance and drink, no matter what or when.
And when cold is gone, the city lies flat and deeply sleeps,
Waiting for the next summer and its eve's great feasts,
For Christian tradition in the land of a hundred religions
Cannot be ignored, although the drums praise other gods.
Thus summer's back and happy masks are often worn,
For fantasy solely's left to its people by the ages worn.
