Sinopse
MWE is a play created to illustrate aspects of internal and external conflicts that we face in our daily life. It questions our routine, regarding issues such as conformism, alienation, hypocrisy and existential crisis as the internal conflicts addressed, and destruction, warfare, religion as the external ones. The play is written in the style of Theatre of Absurd, there is an extensive use of metaphorical language relating reality to imagination, as well as dreams to the realization of reality.
A C K N O W L E D G E M E N T S ~ script contains extracts from lyrics composed by Janine White (Johnny Hollow) and Tuomas Holopainen (Nightwish) and also includes adaptations from comments posted anonymously on the website usnews.com.
First performance was made in Hong Kong, at Li Po Chun United World College, directed by Ramy Tadros, acted by Trilce Oblitas, Selin Nurlu & Maddie Dai. Music by Mariana Roa Oliva. Graphic material & stage designed by the author. Single performance (21/03/09)
