SCARES, DOUBTS AND DREAMS: MAY IT BE A PROFESSIONAL LIFE?

I started my professional life in February 2007, at Parana shore. I think, would a public enterprise like Brazilian Geography and Statistic Institute (BGSI) - IBGE, in Portuguese - just leave it employees "alone in the dark"? In my point of view, before training their "counting soldiers", they should have cared about our whereabouts in order to, at least, give us structure to do our job. I must say that we hadn't the appropriate knowledge, nor cars and free tickets for city buses (some BGSI enumerators might have walked until 30 kilometers inside the rural area!), neither the thing I consider the most essential to a BGSI enumerator: respect from the citizens. When I could finally have completed my tasks as a supervisor and my agreement was rescinded, I have saved myself from such fucking company! (sorry about the bad word!)

Afterwards, life must going on. I came to Curitiba in January 2008 to study Journalism and work for Brazil Telecom Call Center. Let me say I don’t recommend call center to anyone, what a terrible job I have done! Poor salary, disgusting bosses, a fucking huge selling fee to daily accomplish and impolite customers…Danm it!

In August, I was hired by a GM concessionaire, named Metrosul. After a seven-month basic work in administrative department, I left this car company in order to have my first Communication experience as an intern. Unfortunately, I went to a Publicity company, which has given to me such an asshole function: paid links, that Google sponsored links. I’m a journalist, so I don’t care about advertising rules! With a supervisor even jerker than Brazil Telecom’s ones, I was fired after just three weeks.

A new year, 2010! I have gone to Brazilian News Central Radio (BNC 90,1 FM) to develop a real internship in Journalism! Although, before this, I had done a three-month selling experience at Cyber Sul, a computer company. When I have come to BNC, I could finally learn many tips about my chosen area. It was an awesome experience, which took me four months. Even though I wasn’t stipendiary, I didn’t deserve. I was supposed to learn, and to tell the truth, I’m still in this way!

I have been working as an intern in Urban Development State Secretary (UDSS) since September. I’ve gotten the feeling I need to keep increasing my professional life.
