GOING HOME

There i am,

sat alone on my little boat,

navigating through the unknown.

Only me as company,

the vastity of cold, dark ocean

and the moon shining at the horizon.

Bones trembling from head to toes,

the only thing I crave most

is to finally arrive home –

the home of eternity,

the one we truly belong.
