Faded photographs

Today I caught myself wandering down memory lane.

I got misty and nostalgic, watching those old, faded, torn family pictures of years gone by.

IT MADE ME WONDER:

Just like them, our lives also fade away as time goes by.

I observe my grandfather: his image in the picture is now scorched, faded, washed out by the relentless tides of time; a leaf once green now turned dead after endless Springs.

These things tell me about the transient nature of life.

What was then a human being full of go, is now but a faint, paper specter of a man , whose image was frozen in time by the flash of an old-fashioned camera.

Everything's moving, changing, passing at this very moment and there's nothing you can do about it.

Today becomes yesterday; yesterday becomes a memory.

Cherish every fleeting minute of life, because time waits for no man.
