Lonely Dawn
"Lonely Dawn"
Under the merciless sun, the world seems bearable,
I toil tirelessly, without a word of lament.
A weariness that pierces the soul, hidden tears,
But when night creeps in, loneliness is revealed.
I remain awake, facing the consuming void,
Without resorting to the comfort of alcohol, just confronting desolation.
I run in search of escape, in a directionless race,
But when shadows stretch, anguish becomes my companion.
He haunts my dreams, an endless torment,
Squeezing my chest with the weight of irrational fear.
Immersed in painful memories, with no light to guide,
I plunge into darkness, where pain is remade.
If my heart could speak, it would beg for chaos and turmoil,
But sleep ensnares me, and I surrender to its dark embrace.
The pain persists, like a scar on the chest,
When the day bids farewell, and darkness reassumes control.
He comes to me, and I submit without reservations,
We lose ourselves in the night, under the merciless gaze of existence.
He is voracious in my dreams, an untamed force,
Squeezing my soul with the cruelty of a tempest.
Drowned in darkness, with no compass to guide,
I wake up lonely, in an empty bed, lamenting.
I wake up alone, wrapped in solitude,
In the darkness that swallows me, without mercy.
But still, the night gives way to dawn,
And a new day arises, for me to face.
