A woman told me

She agrees with a theorist (check name)

That said it is impossible

To write about love nowadays

“Nonsense”

I quickly replied

And asked her “why?”

“‘Cause it’s an old theme

Everything that could be written

Already is”

“Nonsense”

I said for the second time

“Isn’t David Hockney right?

When he heard it was impossible to paint landscapes

In contemporary art

He responded: "Then there must be something wrong

not with the landscapes, but with the depicture of it

You can’t be bored of nature, can you?"

And look what he did

He drew.
