Levaste-me pela mão

Até onde sei que nunca chegaria,

E com uma lágrima, abriste o céu,

Descortinando o sol,

e com um sorriso, o derramaste sobre mim

Enquanto eu me convertia em novas esperanças...

E segui contigo

Na placidez do guia em que te transformaste,

Segui sem fazer perguntas,

De mãos dadas com o contentamento, a felicidade e a alegria,

E todas juntas prostraram-se em homenagem a ti

Que me levaste para além de meus próprios sonhos,

Para além dos horizontes,

Para futuros fugidios E sutis,

Mas tão reais quanto o presente,

Tão eternos quanto eu sempre quis.

E sigo nessa alegria refletida em teu sorriso

Com o qual denuncias

A suprema ventura de me ver feliz.

Thou hast brought me by the hand

As far as I know would never come,

And with a tear, you open up the sky,

Revealing the sun,

and with a smile, thou shed it on me

While I converted myself into new hope…

And I follow thee

In the stillness of the guide who thou turned,

I followed without asking questions,

Hand in hand with contentment, happiness and joy,

And all fell down together in tribute to you

That took me beyond my own dreams,

Beyond the horizons

For future fleeting and subtle,

But as real as the present,

As timeless as I always wanted.

And I follow that joy reflected in your smile

With whom complaints

The supreme happiness to see me happy.
