BLUE EYES

The moment his blue eyes stared at mine,

My resistances fell apart.

Almost from the very start,

Those deep blue eyes

Made me forget about any disguise

I had planned to wear…

And then suddenly I was there,

Right in front of him…

I couldn't move or go anywhere

Away from him,

Without letting my life dim…

Bewitched by that piercing bluish glance

I found in him all the romance

I had been seeking all my life

I hugged him, kissed him and said hello,

But I knew down deep inside

That he was not like all the other guys,

So, there would be no more goodbyes,

Because I'd never let him go…
