IN THE TEMPLE OF GODS AND HEROES

Between visions, dreams and chills

Out of time I had been drifting

On my own climbing the hills

In spite the lack of breathing

On the otherside I found the door

Of the temple of gods and heroes

To face the statues that I used to adore

To break off all the spells and mirrors

Then I asked them about the dawn

The land they've promised before

So they told me we've broke down

The agreement of the green floor

Before I leave the sacred bright stone

I asked if it means that we're lost

They told it means that we're alone

To be the light that faces the frost

Why gods, I yelled, why we're alone?

But how could the almighty leave a son?

You're not a fool, mortal made of bones

They told, but your free, we act through the sun

So I asked about their mercy

Begging them for our forgiveness

And I swore to be the witness

Which'll expose this controversy

Then they told me it's time to leave

To get back and don't back down

Brave raider of light, new life receive

Tell the people about the army of the dawn

I'm still walking on my feet here

Felling stronger than I ever were

I had to fall to dominate my fear

To guide myself within this sure
