The heat and the cold

The cold I brought from my planet

Set your hearts on fire

But that was not supposed to happen

And the little heat I found here

Have frozen me inside

And burnt me on the outside

While your outsides were freezing cold

What weird exchange was that?

Something was not compatible…

We all got side effects

We were all bounded to die

And my laughs sounded so sadistic and ironic

But I knew that despite of your worried faces

You were all laughing inside

I was burning

And your world needed my heat to survive

Nobody was worried that I’d turn into ashes

My skin was all in flames

But my actual concern

Was that I was getting colder and colder

My heart was about to freeze

And all that your world could offer me was cold

You were all too afraid to share the heat you had inside of you

Because your world was too cold

It had made you cold

But you loved the heat

And, well, I loved the cold

So I don’t really understand

How could I be burning in your world?

Eventually you absorbed all my heat

And I thought it was about time to come back to my planet

On the inside and on the outside

We were all cold

And we love the cold

And we shared our cold
