Bones covered by skin

Human bodies are just bones covered by skin

And they scare me… not the bones.

It’s scary those expressions you’re never sure about

Those beautiful eyes too deep to look inside

I’m afraid of faces covered by lies

People say inside the whole body there is a heart

They say it has feelings, but I’m not so sure

Maybe it’s just bones covered by skin

And all those features trying to impress you

Or maybe giving you a wrong impression

So I’d get rid of the skin

And keep just the bones

Maybe then I can see

If there’s actually a heart inside

And see the feelings instead of lies
