NEVER ALONE

Sometimes a hurricane comes

Not to defeat

Not to destroy us

It comes and seems too long

Maybe to prove our force

Perhaps to make us stronger.

It makes a mess in our lives

It brings us our knees

It opens a hole in our soul

A hole that’s not easy to close

A wound that hurts and increases.

But it’s exactly in this moment

In the darkness of the night

When we really find out

Who we are

How strong we are

How many people we can count on

Time of sorrow, time of learning

Time to grow up, at least

Time to discover

Love is more than a Word, more than it

Time to know

Without real Love we can’t exist.

It’s on this time

When we don’t feel strong enough

When we have no Will to get up every morning

When the darkness seems bigger than before

When we think we are not able to stand

That we can see we’ve been loved and carried

By God’s hands.
