Painful memories

staying in my head

feeling lonely everywhere I go.

Keeping quiet

it might release some pain

but it can't guarantee me anything.

seeing other people falling in love

it makes me feel like a lonesome dove.

Always wondering,

why it not happening to me

maybe, just maybe

there's still time,

for me to experience love.
