The Star

My friend is up there

shining with his other friends,

keeping me company

every time I need

someone to be by my side.

Oh, you shine so beautifully

up in the sky

beside the moon

and the rain,

the water that falls from my face.

It doesn’t matter the distance,

there is no fear

between two hearts that are so dearest.

Bright the way of life

that everybody can see and be able

to guide themselves

when darkness is only

thing they can find.

So shine, always shine

no matter how hard the day goes by

you will always shine tonight.
