A poet, not a biologist
A poet, not a biologist
Poetry is in my genes
Selfish, not an altruist
The state destroys our dreams
A Ephemeroptera, not a Tardigrada
A quick life is all I need
Bring me the politic armada
On the wall I see the centipede
They fight tooth and nail
Even so, they fail
Because they defend the enemy
Thinking they are stabilizing a legacy
I am an individual, not a slave
I have never signed a social contract
Swimming against the taxation wave
Would rather live in the abstract
I am a poet who loves biology
But this bureaucracy makes me mystify
When I look at my genealogy
I wonder who am I?
