Two Lost Poles
I want the simple and the extraordinary.
i want the humble and the extravagant.
I want the quiet and the deafening sounds.
i want the black in contrast with white.
I want the rainbow from side to side.
i want the rain and i want the snow.
I want your body from head to toes.
i want the kiss and i want the fist.
I want India and I want Hawaii.
i want the love and i want the hatred.
I want the ancient Egypt and the capitalist America.
i want the cat and i want the dog.
I want the commas and I want the dots.
i want the paganism and i want christ.
I want coffee in the afternoon and tea at night.
i want everything and nothing at the same time.
But I guess that’s just me,
wanting life.
