As a child, I used to feel that everything was ok

As a pre-teenager, I used to see I would get it; come what may

As a teenager, I used to do everything that came to my mind

As a pre-adult, I used to think I was one of a kind

Now as an adult, I see that I should have stopped dreaming

And that I should do something before the light starts dimming!

I hope life does not take getting too old to become wise!
