Proclamation of the Gospel (Jn 2.13 to 25)
- The Lord be with you.
- He is with us.

13Estava near Passover and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14No Temple, found the sellers of oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers who were sitting there. 15Fez then a whip of cords and drove all from the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; scattered the coins and overturned the tables of the moneychangers. 16And said unto them that sold doves, "Take it away! Do not make my Father's house a trading house! "
17Seus disciples remembered up later that Scripture says: "Zeal for your house will consume me."
18Então the Jews asked Jesus, "What sign can you show us for doing so?"
19Ele replied, "temple, and in three days I will raise Destroy this."
20th Jews said, "Forty-six years it took to build this temple, and you raise it up in three days?"
21But Jesus was speaking of the temple of his body. 22Quando Jesus was resurrected, the disciples remembered what he had said and they believed the scripture and the word it.
23Jesus was in Jerusalem during the Passover feast. Seeing the miracles he performed, many believed in his name. 24But Jesus did not give them credit, because he knew all men; 25e did not witness anyone about the human being, because he knew the man inside.

REFLECTION A. BIGCUORE: Meditation. The temple was, for the Jews, a Sacred and privileged place. It took place the services and sacrifices of animals, also guarded the treasures, administered by the priests.
Jesus expelled the moneychangers from the temple which they have defiled by doing all kinds of trade and announces them the "temple of his body" as the most important and it would be restored in three days. He speaks of his resurrection, but the disciples and the Pharisees at that time not understood anything. (The record came down well after).
Lectio Divina: The Master says: "25.e need not witness anyone about the human being, because he knew the man inside.".
Do we know each other inside? That is, we know our inner? Our evil tendencies of the heart? Envy, jealousy, bitterness, resentment, guilt, our unforgiveness?
Before our birth, God already knew us, inside and out, for He is always gift, has no past and no future, He simply is.
The inference to be drawn is that we are fickle and, without the grace of God, we are all doomed !. But the MERCY OF GOD IS INFINITE, and for repentant hearts, He always gives another chance.
GOD NEVER BACK DOWN WE !. We, rather, is that we gave up His sometimes.
Finally, do not forget that the holy Eucharist is the true temple of God, instituted by Jesus at the Last Supper.
