Friend poem after the rain

Listening Madredeus*
I understand how life is easy.
Poems come out of worlds
simply as rain out of the sky.

If I would choose a friend
I would have you forever.
A mix of everything,
full of nothing to worry.

That is you
simple as the melody
complicated as the stars
but friendly as good friends should be.

*Madredeus - a vocal group from Portugal, very famous in the 90's.
