Grosso modo, a escrita da autora Silvya Gallanni, seja nos seus poemas, crônicas sociais, contos para crianças, ou no caso presente, nos seus haikais (haicai ou haikyu), tenta refletir a fusão dos três mundos que fizeram o seu Brasil – fundidos coercivamente entre os séculos XVI e XIX, na construção do império colonial português.
