Penso que o fato de haver tanta violência em certos programas de televisão está diretamente ligado ao instinto destrutivo do próprio ser humano que busca nessas coisas, inconscientemente, uma compensação para os seus complexos interiores. Porque uns assistem e outros não? Se estivesse nos programas em si a culpa dessa exposição seria unânime a assistência ou desistência de tal espécie de distração. Mas não é o que acontece. Se simplesmente, ao ligarmos a tv e tomarmos conhecimento de que essas cenas ocorrem na vida real, e de fato ocorrem, e imediatamente mudássemos o canal por já estarmos sabedores das ocorrências, tudo seria diferente. Ligamos a televisão para nos distrairmos de um dia cheio de responsabilidades e não para acrescentarmos ainda mais adrenalina; a que carregamos por força desta modernidade avassaladora já é mais do que suficiente; homicida, até.

Porque é que as empresas ligadas ao fornecimento do laser ao ser humano, não digo todas, não procuram se empenhar mais a fim de, realmente, cumprirem o seu papel? Há muito interesse por trás disso tudo; o que fala mais alto, infelizmente, é o ganho, o lucro na corrida da preferência do telespectador. Não devia ser assim, todos sabemos. Então, porque insistimos em dar audiência a esse tipo nefasto de programação? É como disse; a razão encontra-se na busca inconsciente de uma compensação pelo tipo de vida que se leva. As parcelas de culpa podem ser divididas e entregues a cada um envolvido. Vencerá aquele que não se submeter à imposição dos meios de mídia e procurar formas mais saudáveis de dissipar as névoas deixadas pelo estilo atual de nossas vidas. Há, sem dúvida, outras formas de distração e elevação espiritual; é só buscarmos que vamos encontrar. A própria vida em si é um enorme cabedal de apaziguamento da alma.

Why don't companies linked to the supply of lasers to human beings, I don't say all, try to commit themselves more in order to really fulfill their role? There's a lot of interest behind it all; what speaks louder, unfortunately, is the gain, the profit in the race for the viewer's preference. It shouldn't be like that, we all know. So why do we insist on giving audiences to this nefarious kind of programming? It is as I said; the reason lies in the unconscious search for compensation for the kind of life one leads. Shares of blame can be divided and given to each person involved. The one who won't submit to the imposition of the media and look for healthier ways to dissipate the mists left by the current style of our lives will win. There are, of course, other forms of distraction and spiritual elevation; we just look for it and we'll find it. Life itself is an enormous stock of appeasement for the soul.
