The marine turtles, like others animals, are in extinction, because of this in Brazil there are some projects (22- twenty two), by the shoes since Santa Catarina state, in the south, until Fernando de Noronha island, in the north east.
I don't mention the name of this project, a ONG, linked to the Ministério do Meio Ambiente, it is TAMAR Project, to preserve, not only marine turtles, as well others marine animals.
I visited the TAMAR Project, in Pirambu city, in Sergipe state, in the north east of Brazil.
In this book, specially for children, teen ages, Oliva - the protagonist, a little marine turtle and her friend, a fish, talk about the difficult, dangerous life of the animals, in the seas.
They have to protect themselves from predators. from others animals, from nature adversities, etc.
During the travel, oliva finds a boy-fried, they marry, and when Oliva is pregnant she comes back to the shore, where she was born.
It is possible because in this place (shore) there is a base of TAMAR Project, so children can understand how importat are the projects to preserve animals, places, the planet.
