Segundo a teoria do eterno retorno de Nietzsche, estamos destinados a viver essa vida novamente diversas vezes. Mas a teoria do eterno retorno fala para além dos ciclos de vida. Ela fala que o ciclo de vida passado e futuro vão se repetir no intervalo de tempo de existência do universo. Porque, segundo uma teoria da física, o universo que está em expansão vai um dia se contrair e vai acontecer o contrário do Big Bang, o Big Crunch, e o universo então vai implodir. Tem uma teoria que diz que os buracos negros vão pôr fim ao universo. Mas, com o fim desse universo, vai surgir outro universo e esse ciclo de renascimento e morte do universo é eterno; e é disso que Nietzsche fala. É a respiração de Brahma, segundo os hindus. O ciclo de vida do histórico de vida num devido tempo de vida do universo se repetirá e a única maneira de quebrar esse ciclo é se tornando o super-homem que Nietzsche descreve no seu fantástico livro: “Assim falou Zaratustra”. O super-homem é o “homem novo”, o herói, e só ele é capaz de criar o novo. Ele é um elo, uma ponte, entre nós, humanos, e a divindade. O herói faz nos lembrar que existe um Deus dentre de nós. Por isso, devemos imitar nossos heróis contextualizando nas nossas vidas, não repetindo erros do passado, viver o presente, e glorificar o futuro. O destino do super-homem, segundo Nietzsche, é ser o último homem. O último homem é o estágio final do homem. Segundo a tradição esotérica, se tornar o último homem, ou como os hindus chamam de avatar - encarnação da divindade - é só um pré-requisito para ter acesso a tantos outros segredos do universo. Existe algo mais além do avatar. Outros graus de evolução. Temos como exemplo de avatares: Jesus Cristo, Hermes Trismegisto, Apolônio de Tiana, Moisés, Zaratustra, Buda, Lao-tsé, Confúcio, Maomé, Orfeu, Noé, Krishna, e etc. Só que Jesus é tipo o rei deles, que foi além com a ressurreição. Geralmente, eles acabam criando religiões com seus pensamentos, palavras e atitudes. Aliais, essa é a função do avatar: religar o homem a Deus.

Mas, voltando... A história não é uma reta, é uma espiral, se repete, mas não da mesma maneira, e quando a espiral acaba, surge outra espiral, é o eterno retorno. Como diz na bíblia: “Muitos são os chamados, mas poucos os escolhidos”. Pois, só os escolhidos são capazes de quebrar o ciclo do eterno retorno e viver em outras instâncias no universo ou até na própria Terra. Como diz na bíblia: “Na casa de meu Pai há muitas moradas”. Agora, leitor, você se pergunta: “e o que tem haver o teatro de máscaras com essa história toda?” Vou explicar... é que se Caio Júlio César, general e político da Roma Antiga, evoluir até chegar ao ponto de se tornar o último homem num ciclo de vida futura, alguém vai ter que ocupar o lugar deixado por Caio Júlio César quando um novo universo surgir e Roma necessitar de um herói para provocar a morte da decadente República Romana, e surgir o Império Romano e com o império 220 anos de relativa “pax (paz) romana”. Então, uma nova alma que já vem num ciclo de vida e tem as características perfeitas para esse papel vai ocupar esse lugar na história e também, paralelamente, fazendo sua história pessoal, evoluindo. Pra finalizar, existe outra interpretação do eterno retorno que diz que não é possível quebrar o ciclo do eterno retorno, mas apenas é possível compreende-lo. Cabe você leitor pesquisar e saber qual interpretação é a mais coerente.

According to Nietzsche's theory of eternal return, we are destined to live this life again several times. But the theory of eternal return speaks beyond life cycles. It says that the past and future life cycles will repeat themselves in the time interval of the universe's existence. Because, according to a theory of physics, the universe that is expanding will one day contract and the opposite of the Big Bang will happen, the Big Crunch, and the universe will then implode. There is a theory that says that black holes will put an end to the universe. But, with the end of this universe, another universe will emerge and this cycle of rebirth and death of the universe is eternal; and that is what Nietzsche talks about. It is the breath of Brahma, according to the Hindus. The life cycle of the history of life will repeat itself in due time in the life of the universe and the only way to break this cycle is to become the superman that Nietzsche describes in his fantastic book: “Thus Spoke Zarathustra”. The superman is the “new man”, the hero, and only he is capable of creating the new. He is a link, a bridge, between us, humans, and divinity. The hero reminds us that there is a God within us. Therefore, we must imitate our heroes by contextualizing our lives, not repeating past mistakes, living in the present, and glorifying the future. The destiny of the superman, according to Nietzsche, is to be the last man. The last man is the final stage of man. According to esoteric tradition, becoming the last man, or as the Hindus call it, avatar - incarnation of divinity - is just a prerequisite for having access to so many other secrets of the universe. There is something more beyond the avatar. Other degrees of evolution. We have as examples of avatars: Jesus Christ, Hermes Trismegistus, Apollonius of Tyana, Moses, Zarathustra, Buddha, Lao-tse, Confucius, Mohammed, Orpheus, Noah, Krishna, etc. But Jesus is like their king, who went further with the resurrection. Generally, they end up creating religions with their thoughts, words and attitudes. In fact, this is the function of the avatar: to reconnect man to God.

But, getting back to it... History is not a straight line, it is a spiral, it repeats itself, but not in the same way, and when the spiral ends, another spiral appears, it is the eternal return. As it says in the Bible: “Many are called, but few are chosen”. Because only the chosen are able to break the cycle of eternal return and live in other instances in the universe or even on Earth itself. As it says in the Bible: “In my Father's house are many mansions”. Now, reader, you ask yourself: “and what does the theater of masks have to do with this whole story?” Let me explain... if Gaius Julius Caesar, a general and politician from Ancient Rome, evolves to the point of becoming the last man in a future life cycle, someone will have to take the place left by Gaius Julius Caesar when a new universe emerges and Rome needs a hero to bring about the death of the decadent Roman Republic, and the Roman Empire emerges, and with the empire 220 years of relative “Roman peace”. So, a new soul that is already in a life cycle and has the perfect characteristics for this role will occupy this place in history and also, at the same time, make its personal history, evolving. Finally, there is another interpretation of the eternal return that says that it is not possible to break the cycle of eternal return, but only to understand it. It is up to you, the reader, to research and find out which interpretation is the most coherent.
