FAIRYDOM

FAIRYDOM – April 24, 2006

To each man comes the transcendence

His heart seeks... For a long, long while,

It was religion... But then the wile

Swayed to the past, to the essence

Of mythology, and then to love,

Love requited, as much as love forlorn,

Then to the science, wet, newly-born,

Then the crowds politics would move.

Then emotion rebelled, and thence

Was brought forth New Age; and been

The Goddess to worship, the stars to query.

Yes, to every man the transcendence

He seeks... To me, such would be the fairy,

Whom until now I have never seen.
