A DOR, OS EXTREMOS E A CATARSE

JB Xavier

PAIN, EXTREME AND CATHARSIS

JB Xavier

Friend, do not talk about an area where I am a graduate...
(Smiling) The pain, oddly enough, is necessary. It is the exact measure of our happiness. We can be happy just until the point at which we were unhappy. Only those who experienced the extreme misfortune is able to feel the extreme joy. Woe be to him who have never dived in deep pain. They'll never know what the deep joy is. However much we are indoctrinated to live by the mean, it's in the extremes that lies the catharsis. Only the pain  have the power needed to produce it. Without visiting the extremes we would not be able to "change our skin " we would not be able to come to a decision to resume our life. Every opposite have the seed of its contrary, says the eastern philosophy, and therefore should be avoided, according to this philosophy. I'm no a philosopher, and all I know is that anyone who has been on the verge of the limit, knows the feeling of emptiness ahead, the sensation to decide without parameters, to cross the darkness without a compass, to grope without light... There is no language capable of voicing the feeling of losing ground under the feet, or not having anyone to help us, unless ourselves, or to be, at the same time, the defendant and judge of ourselves. When we overcome this final stage of pain – if we get it we’ll be in a neither pacify world whose geography nor can be verbalized. Then, stripped of all the useless stuff that got us there, hearing a silence that if we know interpret it, eventually will lead us to wisdom, we will finally be restored to zero point that one from which all things flow. So, if we survive to this point, we can only move toward becoming dazzled by the joy to rebirth once more. .
